My wife and i travelled on the Island Escape back in March 08 i had arranged the trip for our 40th wedding aniversary the cruise was a total disaster from the startdue to lack of organization on our arrival in Palma to a vessel that was not ready for cruising after a refit the only port we arrived in on time was Palma this on our return. food although plentyful quality left a lot to be desired i work with various cruise companies and know my way around ships would recomend you look for another company Mike Stowmarket

There is every chance that this is going to be a great break particularly as this is your first cruise. First cruises are often your best. This is easy for me to say I know but you did the right thing booking so to make the best of it ....as soon as you start your holiday forget everything else that's on your mind, you are going to be waited on hand foot and finger, you will have more food offered than you would normally ever consider and it will all be delicious. July is a wonderful time to go to the Med with super weather and normally calm seas. Go on excursions if you want to, just wander into town if you want to or just stay on board and sunbathe or read a book or find a quiet corner and snooze. When you come home you won't even remember being worried. I promise you that you will enjoy it .... Neil

hiya as i told you in your previews review you asked your cruise will be ok and go with open mind its your cruise so dont let some silly reviews put you off alot of passangers just like to complain about silly stupid things you will enjoy .as for cabin ive not done coral on escape done diamond deck and golden deck on escape it was coral on star if your worried about sailing get some sickness tablets from chemist or wrist bands have lovley time staff are great and entertenment enjoy look forward to your review hope ive been helpfull
