Q:
Does anyone know what will happen to the Island Cruise Ship - Island Star? We have really enjoyed cruising on her and would like to know where she will be going when TUI are no longer using her.

Hi,
After April next year the Star will be joining the Spanish cruise line Pulmantur. The Escape will be part of the Thomson's fleet at some stage next year.

Just checked the web page on Pulmantur - makes sense - they are now owned by Royal Caribbean - who I presume owned Island Star anyway... everything goes round and round, but sadly, we have lost out with Island Star she is a lovely ship and will be missed.

I thought it was moving onto becoming a Thomson's ship, but might be wrong.
