Q:
We are going on the Island Escape on a transatlantic cruise in November.We call at Gibralter and as the cigarettes are so cheap there does anyone know how many you are allowed to buy and take on board.I know if you visit by car or bus you can only take 200 per person but is it different with the ship.Thank you for any help June and Malcolm

If you want to know the restrictions on what you can bring back into the Country, go to the Customs and Excise web site for information. Most shops in Gibraltar will tell you what you what you can legally bring back. We brought back 2 x 200 packs - duty paid - so I don't know what the difference is to duty free and duty paid.

HIYA YES YOU CAN BRING IN WHAT YOU WANT BUT IF GET STOPPED THERE TAKE THEM OFF YOU ITS NOT WORTH THE RISK IF THEY GET COFESCETED .LOST ALL THAT CASH .

You can take as many as you want onto the ship but you can only bring 200 back into UK. B&H Gold were £12.10/carton a couple of weeks ago
