Just had the most fantastic holiday aboard the Island Escape. Noted the comments about the cabins and so wasn't let down when i went to mine, Emerald deck 7. Just like an old caravan but I loved it, and as I only spent time sleeping in it then it did the job. The bed was narrow but very cosy. Food and crew were excellent. I'm not a sun bather by the pool type so was much releived to find some very comfortable places away from it all to just sit and read. As a first time cruiser this holiday has left me wanting more. The joy of waking up early and watching the sun rise as we entered a different port each day are memories that will stay with me. The joy of my holiday was not the cabin, but having a great time with my family and friends aboard a very friendly ship. On my experience I would say that the Island Escape is a great ship to cut your teeth on.
